I am Sophie, a twenty-year-old girl passionate about travelling, exploring the world with its endless options, and learning from and about all the amazing cultures that our planet has to offer, as well as learn about myself and how to handle such travelling at such a young age.
I left my home right after school, with no certain plan of what might come next, and I had only booked my flight and a few days of accommodation. While I undoubtedly went through struggles here and there, I found this to have been the best decision for me at the time.
Now I want to share my experience with people who might be in a similar position to me. Struggling with oneself, no certain plan, and unsure what to do in the future. People who are sceptical about leaving everything behind to start over somewhere completely different, as well as people who may just want to have a quick break from day-to-day business.
My blog talks about personal struggle as well as mistakes that happen on your first big trip. It’s a guide as well as a place to find comfort in knowing there is someone out there who fights the same struggles and battles the same fears.
When I first started my travels, I was constantly searching for guides, someone who was available for questions, someone who was there to explain and guide you through it. Now I am in a position to be that person, and I would love to do it through this blog, on this website, accessible to everyone who needs it.
